Hands of Time — Line Mingar, Glass Artist

Hands of Time is a photographic journey into the furnace-lit world of Norwegian glass artist Line Mingar, where time slows, stretches, and briefly liquefies.

In the heat of the workshop, glass becomes breath, gravity, and gesture. Body and material move together in a quiet choreography — a dialogue between flame, hand, and breath that leaves traces on both the maker and the made. These images follow Mingar through moments of intensity and stillness, where concentration, repetition, and patience merge into a single, flowing rhythm.

Rather than celebrating finished objects alone, the project lingers on what usually remains unseen: the hands that guide molten form, the tools worn smooth by use, and the glowing space that holds each fragile transformation.

Together, the photographs become a meditation on touch, endurance, and the way time is shaped — not measured — inside the act of making.
